First snow of the year blanketing the glowing colours of autumn. Wet heavy clumps falling from trees, water dripping from every nook and cranny, from every branch and bowing tree. Tiny snow flakes carried on the breath of the wind, swirling around as if they too are reluctant to believe it’s already time for a winter tale.
A tiny bird chirping away happily in its white shelter, celebrating the richness and simplicity of the present moment, without giving a single thought to the long cold months ahead. Maybe one day I too can live the way this courageous bird sings.
Happy hopping along the snow-covered trails!
